This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Finance Connect Android application ("the App") collects, why, how it is used, who it is shared with, and how you can request its deletion.

What Finance Connect is: Finance Connect is a Financial Information & Guidance platform. It helps users understand the basic features, eligibility factors, documentation, charges, risks, and important considerations for loans, insurance, investments, and banking products. Finance Connect is not a bank, NBFC, insurer, mutual fund company, or lender, and it does not forward user enquiries or data to any bank, NBFC, insurer, or third-party financial institution. It does not recommend any specific product or provider.

1. Data we collect

2. Why we collect it

• To understand your requirement and provide relevant general financial information/guidance
• To follow up with guidance or support if needed
• To detect and prevent spam, duplicate, and fraudulent submissions

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale to marketing companies.

3. Who we share it with

Your enquiry data is not forwarded to any bank, NBFC, insurer, mutual fund company, or any third-party financial institution. Finance Connect does not perform lead-generation or facilitation for any financial product or provider.

We never sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, lenders, or unrelated third parties.

4. Security

• The database rejects all direct reads/writes except from our authenticated backend server.
• Server-to-server authentication uses OAuth2 and cryptographic signing.
• The internal admin/support panel requires a password and a time-limited session token.
• Submissions are checked with spam/bot-prevention measures before being accepted.

5. Retention

We retain data until follow-up guidance/support is complete, for as long as legally required, or until you request deletion — after which it is permanently erased.

• Right to access, correct, or request erasure of your data
• Right to withdraw consent at any time

7. Data deletion — how it works

1. Submit a request: Open the App → "Delete My Data" → enter your mobile number, optionally a reference ID and reason → submit. You receive a unique deletion reference ID.
2. Verification: We contact you by phone/WhatsApp using the same number to confirm you made the request (this prevents anyone else from deleting your data without your consent).
3. Deletion: Once verified, we permanently delete all records tied to that mobile number, normally within 7 days.
4. Status check: Return to "Delete My Data" → "Check Status" → enter your reference ID anytime to see Pending / Completed / Rejected.

8. Children's data

Finance Connect is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
